Why the turtle
I am Neelesh, a licensed insurance and financial advisor in Kitchener, Ontario. Clients started calling me the Turtle Guy, and it stuck, partly because of the turtle on my card, and partly because the idea fits how I work. Slow and steady. A shell that protects what is underneath. Something built to last a long time. That is insurance and long-term planning in one animal.
Who I work with
I work with families and small business owners across the Kitchener-Waterloo region, and out along the corridor from Niagara to Toronto.
What I did before this
Before this, I spent more than a decade in technology and business analysis, building systems for companies in banking, insurance, and immigration services. That work taught me how to take something complicated and make it make sense to a real person. It is the same thing I do now, except the subject is your money and your family's security.
Why I work in three languages
I moved to Canada myself, so I know what it is like to arrive and rebuild everything from scratch, including your financial footing. That is a big reason I work in English, Hindi, and Telugu. A money conversation is hard enough without a language barrier on top of it.
What I help with today
Today I help with life insurance, retirement and investment planning, and RESP and education savings. I passed my RIBO general insurance exam in July 2026, so home, auto, and commercial insurance are on the way, available remotely across Ontario. The goal is simple: one advisor you can call for the whole picture, instead of five people who each know one piece.
